Investigating Natural Chemicals from Underwater Caves in the Bahamas

The BCRF is currently assisting Magellan BioScience Group Inc. with permitting application process through the Bahamas Department of Marine Resources. Preliminary investigations in years past have shown that cave adapted marine organisms rank high on the list for potential of natural products in both pharmaceutic and agricultural uses. If permits are granted, then the BCRF will play a large role in facilitating locating sustainable sites and collecting.
